Bible
The Bible is the inspired word of God. We believe that it is both true and trustworthy. It is without error in the original text. It is thereby the ultimate authority in our lives. This belief affects all others. It informs what we believe about God, Jesus, Sin, Man, Life, Love, Marriage, and money.
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NKJV)
We believe in one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God is both Holy but close, He is the powerful creator that is intimately knowable and involved in our lives. We also believe that He is also Just and Loving. He requires righteousness and provides that in Jesus.
God made you to know and enjoy Him. But we were deceived into wondering if God cares about or wants what is best for us. We walked away from God but He will never walk away from us. You still matter to Him. God chose to come as one of us in the person of Jesus and to be crushed by the weight of our sin. Jesus rose from the dead to offer us a new life and nature.
Life is meant to be enjoyed and lived to the full and God intends for us to experience a deep and abiding peace. He provides a way for our deepest hopes to be realized. Unfortunately, sin separated us from God and robbed us of the best that He intended, peace, security, joy, purpose, and significance. God restores you to Himself, through faith in Jesus who then, by the Holy Spirit, guides your life through a life of restoration. God restores all who puts their trust in Him back to life with a deep sense of security and significance. This life when lived out in Him will affect those in community with you and fill your life with purpose.
God from the beginning was in the process of restoring all things back to the way they were intended to be. In the fullness of time God will fulfill all His promises, making all things new! The Bible speaks of a new heaven and a new earth that is free of sin and its effects. Until that day, we enjoy the restoration of God in our own lives as we look forward to the full restoration of that which is coming.
